New Year Fresh Start Seminar December 2011

This festive seminar was based on the theme of new Plans, Petals & mince Pies!

Rosemary Morrison helped to inspire Women into Business members’ pre Christmas by providing an informative seminar during which advice was given on how to create a personal plan of action for the New Year. These plans will come in useful in January to really help motivate the participants to achieve their goals and aspirations.

All members were then asked to take part in a group activity. Women into Business member Katrina Corey who has successfully launched her own 3D design studio which specialises in floral designs gave a demonstration of her fantastic flower arranging. The other members were then given their own flowers and greenery in groups so that they could give the skill a go themselves! This was a great exercise to get the members to work as a team and was really enjoyed by all- the arrangements also looked fabulous with many of them sticking with the festive theme and adding baubles and candles!

As always with Women into Business seminars there was a great atmosphere of support and friendship between all the women who participated and all who attended enjoyed a networking lunch after the seminar.

One participant commented, “Very rewarding seminar, it’s very useful to start the new year fresh. New hopes, new beginnings and new goals to reach.”

This was a really great way to end the events for the year and everyone left feeling really positive, uplifted and motivated to achieve their goals in 2012!
