Why become a member of the Connect Programme?

Through FREE membership you will have the opportunity to access valuable information, attend a range of workshops and 1-2-1 mentoring and explore career options.

The Connect Programme is designed in a way that allows members to to get what they need, as and when they need it.  This open access approach gives members the freedom and flexibility to access as little or as much of the programme activities as they wish.

 

What are the benefits of the Connect Programme membership?

We could all do with some support or practical advice when when faced with the challenges of finding a job or starting a business.  There is where the Connect Programme can help.

Connect is a FREE programme for women who are currently economically inactive or working/ studying less than 16 hours per week.

Who can become a member of the Connect Programme?

Any woman can become a member, but specifically those who want to enter or return to the workforce, and women who would like to support these women.

This includes women:

  • who are unemployed
  • who have been made redundant
  • who have just finished full time education
  • who have been out of the labour market due to childcare/family care
  • who are under-employed
  • who are part-time students
  • who are lone parents
  • who lack educational background or qualifications
  • who are on Incapacity Benefit and/or Disability Living Allowance who may be able to work part time
  • with long term disabilities
  • with other caring responsibilities

Please note: only those who are currently unemployed or working / studying for less than 16 hours per week are eligible for programme activities.

 

How do I become a member of the Connect Programme?

Becoming a member is free and easy! Just click 'Register' on the Home Page.  Once you register your details, you are a Member!  You now have access to all areas of our website and content.
