The Connect Team are delighted to announce local comedian Nuala McKeever as guest speaker at their key event 'The Power of Confidence' at the fabulous Fitzwilliam Hotel on Thursday 30th March.  

Nuala, who is best known for her role in the successful BBC series 'Give My Head Peace,' will talk confidence and how it has been vital to her career success.  Whether you would like to start your own business or are hoping to return to work this free event will be a morning of inspiration and motivation to give you the confidence to achieve your ambitions.

The Ormeau Baths building in Belfast is to become a co-working space for freelancers and small businesses.  The bulk of the listed Victorian building was last used as an art gallery, but that closed in 2011. A group of technology investors are to convert the site into a space with 140 desks and private offices.

Belfast City Council Launch Pre Recruitment Programme with 2 Posts on Offer

The council will be running another pre recruitment and training programme mid- late March for Markets and Customer Services Attendant. It is anticipated that there will be up to 9 part-time posts, probably a mixture of 16 hours and 18.5 hours per week. Two of these will be ring-fenced as part of the pre- recruitment and training programme, and programme participants will also be able to apply for the mainstream vacancies as well.
