Recruitment ‘open day’ planned for jobs at top Belfast venues

Up to 70 people will be recruited at the one-day  recruitment event to create a pool of casual workers for the two top city centre venues.

An ‘open day’ recruitment drive is taking place for the Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall on Saturday, 27 February.

Organisers hope they will attract diverse interest from as wide a cross section of the public as possible, including people with caring responsibilities and those able to work hours outside the usual ‘9 to 5’.

Several exciting casual opportunities will be available; Assistant Duty Manager, Client Support Assistant, Box Office Assistant, Production Technician, Host, Porter and it is expected that the casual work will be available from April following initial training.

Potential applicants are asked to bring photographic ID along on the day.  Application forms will be available online and at the jobs kiosk in Cecil Ward Building, 4-10 Linenhall Street in Belfast from 11 February. These can be completed in advance or may be completed on the day.

The open day will run from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, 27 February at the new look Belfast Waterfront
