Free Mock Interview Opportunities

 Women into Business Northern Ireland in Conjuction with Grafton Recruitment, provide a number of  Mock Interviews sessions each month where W2B members will be able to take part in “real-life” interviews, receive verbal and written feedback as well as a one hour mentoring session post interview. The aim is to provide a guide to interview technique, build confidence and provide a platform for a future career plan.

Gale joined The Grafton Group in 2005 for almost a year and subsequently rejoined in 2007 holding roles for as Marketing and Brand Manager for Spengler Fox and BluePrint Specialist Appointments. Whilst still retaining the latter role, Gale’s responsibilities are split over two further areas- manager for Corporate Social Responsibility and in a supporting role to the Managing Director. Gale has previous project management and international recruitment experience from her role as International Business Development Manager in Grafton Healthcare in 2005 with responsibility for UK and Ireland projects with specific recruitment in CEE countries.  Gale has additional experience as a self employed business owner in both N. Ireland and Holland. Gale contributes to the sector academies for skills shortages and is a member of the ICT and Software SubGroup for Southern Region. Gale also provides CV and interview masterclasses to students, socially disadvantaged and  one to one mentoring on middle-senior level careers. Gale has experience in a wide variety of sectors and holds an MA in Business Strategy.

karen-corry.jpg Karen Corry has recently joined the Grafton ESP  team in the role of HR Consultant. Karen is an HR Specialist with over 10 Years experience working in Operations and HR divisions. Extensive experience gained managing large scale Recruitment and Selection initiatives for Public and Private Sector organisations including the design and implementation of recruitment strategies. Karen specialises in employee relations, change management and continuous business process improvement. Having worked with clients across a range of departments and geographies, providing excellent service to customers, clients and employees; excellent communication skills, attention to detail and strong knowledge of current employment law legislation, Karen will bring a wealth of experience to the Women in Business initiative. Karen has worked in IT and consultancy organisations, the latter includes assignments for organisations in a diverse range of sectors to include emergency services, education and manufacturing.
 

Cara Hart

Cara Hart is the Occupational Psychologist for Grafton ESP who has the responsibility of ensuring cara.jpga best practice approach is adopted by the team in areas such as recruitment and selection, performance appraisal and career development.  Cara also supports the Grafton Employment Group Senior Managers on consultancy projects such as the use of psychometric assessment in career development and choosing appropriate assessment and selection methodologies. 

 

Cara has significant experience in recruitment, assessment and selection.  She has worked as a campaign manager on a wide range of roles which has included job design, development of bespoke advertising and sourcing strategies to attract the appropriate calibre of candidates, shortlisting applications and design and delivery of bespoke assessment methodologies including training of non-HR personnel.  In addition Cara supports the Grafton ESP team in delivering recruitment campaigns including the critical review of assessment methodology, design of bespoke exercises and analysis of recruitment information and outcome s to ensure a continuous improvement approach.
